This policy explains how Kirsty Goddard Marketing ("we", "us", "our") collects, stores, and uses personal information you share via this website. We are a sole-trader consultancy based in Cambridge, United Kingdom.

What we collect

The only personal information this website actively collects is what you send us through the contact form. That includes your name, email address, company (optional), and the contents of your message.

We use Plausible, a privacy-focused analytics service, to understand how the site is used in aggregate: page views, referral sources, and similar counts. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect or store personal information, and does not track you across other websites. The site uses no advertising cookies or cross-site tracking of any kind.

Your IP address and request metadata may be logged by our hosting provider (Vercel) as part of standard server operation.

How we use it

We use the information you submit to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to discuss how we might work together. We do not sell your data, share it with third-party marketers, or add you to a mailing list without your explicit consent.

How it's processed and stored

The contact form is handled by Web3Forms, which receives your submission and forwards it to us by email. Your submission is therefore processed by Web3Forms and by our email provider. Both operate under their own privacy terms.

Analytics data is processed by Plausible, which is based and hosts its data in the European Union. Because Plausible collects no personal information, this data cannot be linked back to you.

Once your enquiry reaches our inbox, it is stored there alongside normal business correspondence.

Legal basis

We process your information under the legal basis of legitimate interest — specifically, responding to an enquiry you have initiated. Where you have asked us to retain your information for a longer-term relationship, we rely on your consent.

Retention

We retain enquiries for as long as the conversation is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards for business-record purposes. If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so unless we are required to retain it for legal or accounting reasons.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of the personal information we hold about you. You can also object to processing, request data portability, or withdraw consent where it has been given.

To make any of these requests, email us and we will respond within one calendar month.

We may update this policy from time to time. Any material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
